On October 1, Altia will join the automotive industry’s top user experience experts at WardsAuto User Experience (UX) Conference™. This event will take place at the Suburban Collective Showplace in Novi, Michigan.

Altia Senior Product Designer, Barry Pompea, will present during Session 3, “The Latest UX Technologies for Upcoming Platforms.” During his presentation, Barry will discuss head-up display technology – where the technology is now, where it is going and his vision for HUDs of the future.

Colorado Inno has named Altia to its 2019 Inno on Fire list!

The Inno on Fire list includes the top 50 people and companies in the Colorado tech and startup ecosystem who are helping to drive Colorado forward. These winners have demonstrated success in 2019 by acquiring new funding, launching new products, making big hires or taking innovative approaches to solving problems. Winners were sourced by nominations and selected by the Colorado Inno editorial team.

Altia to present at ELIV International Congress 2019

ELIV 2019, the international conference for automotive electronics, will take place at the World Conference Center Bonn in Bonn, Germany on October 16 and 17. Altia will join Porsche, Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi and other key automotive companies as presenters at this important industry event.

Meet Us at Automotive Innovation Day — 3 July in Seoul

Altia will join key automotive industry directors, R&D engineers, designers and ecosystem partners at Automotive Innovation Day 2019 on July 3, 2019 at the The-K Hotel in Seoul, South Korea.

Organized by Automotive Electronics, the Korean automotive magazine, this year’s conference will dig into topics impacting “The Future Car: Electric & Smart Mobility”. Conference attendees will choose from an assortment of talks in tracks ranging from Autonomous Driving/AI to E-mobility/Emission-Free and Safety/Security/Comfort/Connected Car. Altia Korea Sales Director, Wangsu Kim, has joined the conference speaker lineup! He will present “Future Architecture of Vehicle Cockpit Displays with Multiple Inter-Operating Systems” at 11:55 AM in the Safety/Security/Comfort/Connected Car track.

Altia Featured in The Colorado Springs Business Journal

The Colorado Springs Business Journal recently featured a great article about Altia.

The author covers the early days of Altia, how a few Hewlett-Packard engineers saw a need for a tool to prototype controls for test and measurement equipment and spun off to start their own company. She also mentions how Apple transformed the device market with the iPhone — and how Altia responded with a solution for embeddable graphics, which is currently in production in millions of cars, home appliances, medical devices and more.

Colorado Springs…the New Entrepreneurial Destination

In a recent Inc. article, Jeff Barrett discusses the key reasons why Colorado Springs is “poised to be the Colorado growth city of the next decade.”

Not only is the city conveniently situated just down the road from long-time tech centers Boulder and Denver, but Colorado Springs boasts its own share of companies who are at the cusp of technology and innovation — from software and robotics to cyber security and startups who are leveraging the state-of-the-art government technology available through partnership with the Colorado Springs-based Air Force Academy.
