Telechips SoCs and Altia HMI Development Software Chosen for Production Automotive Clusters

Altia announces code generation support for the Telechips TCC803x (Dolphin+) and TCC897x using Altia HMI development tools and the Linux operating system. Due to the incredible code efficiency of the Altia DeepScreen target for the Telechips chip, this combined solution has been selected for instrument cluster production. The inaugural cluster program will include support for multiple themes, advanced plotting, 3D and multiple languages.

Colorado Springs Ranks #1 in 2018 Most Desirable Places to Live in the U.S.

U.S. News & World Report just published their 2018 Most Desirable Places to Live in the U.S. Colorado Springs, Altia headquarters’ hometown, was ranked #1!

As part of their annual research about best places to live, surveyors from U.S. News asked people from all over the country where they would live if given the choice. Out of the 125 largest metro regions in the country, Colorado Springs came out on top — ranking above cities including Austin (TX), Seattle (WA), Honolulu (HI) and Denver (CO).

Volkswagen EV Wins Race to the Clouds in Altia’s Hometown

This past weekend, Colorado Springs — home of Altia’s headquarters — hosted the 96th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This is an annual invitational automobile and motorcycle hill climb to the summit of Pikes Peak that is held on the last Sunday in June.

The race course is a 12.42 mile (19.99 km) public toll-road with 156 total turns. The total course climb is 4,720 ft. (1,440 m.) — from the 9,390 ft. (2,862 m.) start line at the Mile 7 marker on the Pikes Peak Highway all the way to the 14,115 ft. (4,300 m) finish line at the mountain’s summit.

Altia announces code generation support for the Renesas R-Car D3 using Altia HMI development software and safety certified Green Hills INTEGRITY real-time operating system (RTOS) with INTEGRITY Multivisor virtualization solution. This combination of technologies was featured at CES 2018 and will be on display at the upcoming Embedded World 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany.
