Michael Hill is Chief Executive Officer of Altia, where he leads the company’s global strategy, operations and continued innovation in embedded graphical user interface technology. Drawing on decades of experience in software engineering, product development and technology leadership, Michael works closely with Altia’s worldwide teams to help customers deliver high-performance, production-ready user experiences across automotive, medical, consumer and industrial markets.

Prior to becoming CEO, Michael served as Altia’s Vice President of Engineering, overseeing product development, engineering services and technical support. He led Altia’s highly specialized teams of embedded graphics developers, designers and software architects, with a strong focus on quality, scalability and innovation.

Michael began his career as a software engineer developing C, C++ and Ada solutions for telecommunications, defense and aerospace applications at MCI, Hughes Aircraft and Lockheed Martin. He later co-founded Systems Integration Software and Xaware, and led engineering organizations at Millennium Engineering.

Michael earned a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
