Altia, a leading provider of graphical user interface software solutions for production embedded displays, has been named Best Workplace by the Colorado Springs Gazette for the sixth consecutive year. The award is based on an independent survey of over 2,000 employees in the Colorado Springs area, who rate their employers on various aspects of workplace culture, such as leadership, communication, innovation, and diversity.

The Gazette received hundreds of nominations from private, public and nonprofit organizations in the Pikes Peak Region. Employees at nominated organizations were asked to respond to online surveys about their organization’s health, engagement and leadership plus other areas like work-life balance, training, pay, benefits and corporate social responsibility.

“We are thrilled and proud to receive this wonderful award for the sixth time,” said Mike Juran, CEO and co-founder of Altia. “This recognition is a reflection of the incredible people who work at Altia, and who share our vision of creating software that drives the future of user experience. We are thankful for their talent, passion, and collaboration, and we are committed to providing them with a work environment that nurtures their growth and well-being.”

Altia’s Director of People Operations, Andrea Heffernan, added: “At Altia, we believe that our culture is our competitive advantage. We foster a culture of trust, respect and innovation, where everyone can bring their best selves to work and contribute to our mission. We also celebrate our achievements and have fun along the way. We are honored to be part of the Colorado Springs community and to be recognized as one of its best workplaces.”
