Event at Plaza of the Rockies HQ will Include Vehicles On-Premises Showcasing Altia In Production; Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by Mayor John Suthers

Altia, an international leader in GUI design and development tools, today announced it will be celebrating the grand opening of its new world headquarters location at the Plaza of the Rockies, 111 S. Tejon Street, Suite 204, in Colorado Springs on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Featuring demonstrations of its automotive GUI designs, displays of vehicles with Altia-powered instrument clusters and more, Altia’s grand opening will mark the company’s aggressive moves to put itself at the center of human/machine interface design and technology globally.

“Colorado Springs is halfway between Detroit and Silicon Valley. That’s not only a geographic description but a metaphor for our corporate mindset,” stated Mike Juran, Altia chief executive officer. “Our goal is to bridge these two powerhouses of industry, bringing together the talent and focus necessary to transform the human-machine interface in tomorrow’s products.”

With teams in Colorado, Detroit, Germany, Italy, India, Japan, and Korea, Altia has become an essential partner for automotive engineers and designers around the world, along with developers in many other industries. The company provides powerful, professional-grade embedded GUI development tools that help designers deploy next-generation user interfaces.

Leading the grand opening celebration is a display of vehicles that feature Altia-powered instrument cluster designs. Altia’s 2nd floor offices in the building will showcase Harley-Davidson LiveWire motorcycle from Pikes Peak Harley Davidson, a Triumph RS motorcycle from Pikes Peak Motorsports, and a Vespa Elettrica electric scooter, courtesy of Erico Motorsports.

At 3:30pm, Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers will lead the ribbon cutting ceremony for Altia’s new offices. A reception will be held after the ceremony in the company’s offices.

“Colorado Springs has an exceptional quality of life that has helped us thrive as a company,” noted Juran. “Our new world headquarters is an exciting place to work, from its office design to the quality of the people we attract. We believe our location, our culture, and our mission will make us a hotbed of innovation along the Front Range.”
