Who we want: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Administrative Assistant candidate who is self-motivated and passionate about their support of the business and staff. This position will report directly to the People Operations Manager and is based in Colorado Springs.


  • Manage facilities including:
    • Listen to all incoming phone calls, and send messages to their desired contact,
    • Be the company interface with the landlord for day-to-day needs,
    • Manage the door security system, add new employees and guests as needed,
    • Place orders and maintain stock of office supplies, beverages, and various other items, and organize the supply rooms as needed.
  • Manage all shipping and receiving activities.
  • Assist with People Operations functions and internal event planning.
  • Compose, create, or edit presentations and marketing materials using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve, and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings.
  • Assist with expenses for Executive staff and People Operations Manager
  • Support marketing, engineering and services teams with shipping coordination, execution and tracking (hardware, trade show supplies, etc.)
  • Collaborate with global teams to track hardware availability and status in Jira
  • Must be able to work from the Altia HQ location in downtown Colorado Springs 4-5 days per week.


  • At least 2 years of experience working in an office environment and a general understanding of how an office works.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education or degree preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as Microsoft Office skills and experience.
  • Exceptional administrative proficiency, customer, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be well organized and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with ease in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools with emphasis on Word.

Reporting Relationship:  Reports to People Operations Manager
Budgeted Base Salary Range: $18-$22 an hour, based on experience. This position would start out at 20-25 hours per week.
